Ok, just found what appears to be a fun Christmas gift, but would like some input from anyone here that may have had some first hand experience with this thing.

Ebay seems to have the best deal

I have seen a similar bird in a gift shop years ago that would repeat anything said to it, but this one seems to do much more.

edit: Amazon price is in line with ebay. Another seller was close to $100.

Hey, thanks for those links! Dick Debartolo is way cool! I remember his work from Mad magazine all those years ago, and also bought his book [www.amazon.com] which was a pretty darn good look at Mad from the inside. I knew he was a gadget freak, but didn't know he wrote anything about them.

Maybe Squawker would be annoying, but at least he has an off switch. Something that can't be done with a real parrot.
