Does the name of that joint describe how quickly their fare blows through your intestinal tract?

Actually, most of the ingredients they use are easily digestible and not the ones associated with clogged arteries. Some are, but you just gotta know what to order.

I have always been tempted to get one of the bumper stickers and trim the B and R off "BURGER."

And it is not that secret when they have it on their website.

Their menu largely, actually almost exclusively, consists of hamburgers, cheeseburgers, milk shakes and french fries. I'm just a simple country forum poster. I don't have a fancy suit or suffix to my name, but I'm pretty sure the menu rates rather high on the athrosclerotic potential chart.

Fried red meat and pomme frites are about as guilty as you can get. Nevertheless, it's a tasty nasty mess. To the extent that they undercook their meat and you're more likely to die of an E. coli O157:H7 infection you are right. Sclerotic plaques rarely develop in an advanced state or rigor.

Sorry, but beef, cheese, potatoes... aren't the root of the problem. It's what they're made of, what they're coated in and what they're cooked with. Your connections are only slightly more rational than saying "People eat food. People die. Therefore, food is deadly."

Compared to many of the other places with similar menus, In-n-Out is much less unhealthy.

I've never had an undercooked burger there. Not only that, but anyone who has been keeping their immune system running well isn't going to die from e coli.

And still no evidence proffered that proves In-n-Out undercooks their meat. You might worry less about the name-calling and more about actually backing up your arguments.

The secret menu shown was not that complete.

Pickles are not on a regular item on burgers. They need to be optioned.

Onions can be grilled chopped or whole

And the best addition they don't have...root beer float. I know that is actually in the computer because I sometimes get a "coke float"...which requires management intervention...and shows up on the receipt as a RB Float

And for beverages at the drive thru....the Arnold Palmer (half lemonade & half ice tea) is my normal call.
