Anyone tried this Griffin product? (SmartTalk for iPhone)

Griffin has a 20% off sale until Memorial Day. Priced at 19.99 - the discount, I ordered one of these on impulse. Thought I'd check and see if anyone here has one, and what they think. Any SmartTalk users?

Since the current iphones have that ridiculous recessed jack, that looks like a winner.

Should only be about $9.99 tho, but if Radio Shack can (or attempts to) a sell a .49c USB cable for $29.99 then why not...

walscobry, it's a micrhophone. Not an an adapter. I think 16.00 bucks is pretty cheap.

Interesting, but 30" of cable combined with the earphone cable is a little unwieldy.

RAM, I agree, but the entry point is so cheap I elected not to resist. I might move onto some really expensive ones I read about in MacWorld, but not yet. Mainly I wanted an alternative to the free ones that come with the iPhone. And have a way to use some semi-expensive audiophile-quality earbuds I've already invested in. That way, when my iPod remembers it's an iPhone, and rings, I can answer it directly. The improved mic is potentially worth 15 bucks. That's less than a parking ticket
