Male 9003/h4 plug

This is what I need for my wiring harness but I only have this one site as an example. Would love to find a couple others.

Know of any?

The H4 socket is the same as the old school American automotive Hi/Lo from a 4 headlight sealed beam system AFAIK. Check out an actual auto parts store. I retrofited Hellas onto my '69 GS 350, and I swear I didn't have to change the sockets. It has 5001 and 5006 bulbs (4 -5 3/4" round bulbs)

Last time I got one it was about $5 with about 6" leads for splicing in.

Not changing the socket, I am wiring up a new lighting harness to switch my H4 lights direct to battery. The oem harness is weak and the piaa bulbs almost cause an electrical fire when I first installed them. I don't want to cut and splice my oem loom.

So with this type of male shrouded plug I can just plug in and go. it also needs to be for 12g wire too.

My issue was the original sealed beams were 35/55w, and the Hellas were 60/100. Crisp'd the sockets. 12G may be hard to swing. You may need to get the sockets, and swap out the 14g for 12g wires. I saw replacements once that were 16g wire. cheap bastiges.

Check with this guy:

www.danielsternlighting.com

somethign like this? #

# RIK-H4R kit to properly install H4 or 9003 headlamp assemblies in place of 9004 or 9007 headlamp assemblies: $61 (Audi, Mercedes, Subaru, Saab, Volvo, Morette, etc. - Nothing, including this kit, lets you use H4 bulbs in headlamps designed to accept 9004 or 9007 bulbs.

I have this kit and relays, bypassing most of the stock wiring on my Volvo 240 with ecode lenses. Works great and not too hard to install. Connector adapters something like this:

EDIT: You just want the black pieces pictured above. You may want relays as well... but either way, that's the piece you're looking for, and methinks you're looking for the FEMALE connector that the light plugs into.

Nevermind. I'll stop overthinking it.

thanks Z. I found that guy while I was searching. His site looks good and he seems to have all the stuff I need but with no photos, I am leery.

Call them up and talk to them - I've done business with the Daniel Stern half of the business, and they are reputable and will make sure you get what you're looking for.
