In the past I have had "nightime" setting or something similar, that would do what you are looking for. it was either on my directv box, or in my AV preamp

Look at the Alaska Marine Highway ferry . I did it years ago and would highly recommend it. They have rooms or you can do like I and hundreds of my closest friends did and sleep on the deck. We got off at Skagway, took the train up the pass. on to White horse, buss to Fairbanks then down to Denali, and flew home from Anchorage. Alaska Ferry story
