I did it. Not that I can really spare the $40... but I've not had a current edition of this Utility in a while, and decided it's time to capture it, license it, and start using it again. It really is a good program to have, highly recommended.by guitarist - Tips and Deals
Also--just a theory--streaming from one Mac to another might not get the more favorable results I think you could expect from an Apple TV. The reason being (and this is just a theory, I'm not qualified enough to know if my hunch is correct) that a Mac, even if it's not occupied performing a heavy task, maybe only minor ones, or with most apps not launched, no other tasks at all, leaving plentby guitarist - Tips and Deals

Your Mac is a mobile, like a laptop, yes? And the ATV, also something you'd move around from location to location? From one TV set to another? If the Apple TV is stationary, and your Mac is a stationary desktop Mac, it's questionable to elect to stream wirelessly, unless there's no other choice. Not surprising that it's in the U.K. where this disaster is first showing early troubling numbers of this backwardness and voluntary deconstruction of modernity. exposure to chemicals and laboratory created food ingredients People tend to exercise choices about food, selecting flavor-pumped convenience foods (including restaurant food, packaged foods, slow or fast food establishments) rather than making the effort to select and prepare genuine food from readily-available fresh ingredients, in our own kitchens. Very revealing. In any discussion of more than a dozen people, it only takes a few moments for one of them to unwittingly breed pro-disease thinking. It's often part of the same pattern of denial: first-world popular folklore and vague suspicions about "rampant" use of "chemicals" and "herbicides"-- 20th-century advances that ushered in the flourishing of unpreceby guitarist - Tips and Deals
The price differences b/w don't indicate that the display isn't in color. All modern macs have video cards that produce graphics in full color, not b/w. So a refurb often is a good deal. Fortunately, neither the 2011 and the 2012 models have graphics cards that only display b/w. They're in color. Hope that helps! :)by guitarist - Tips and Deals
I let it do its thing. I noted that yes, it does delete previous backup history to start fresh. It backed up overnight, about 6 hours, and all appears to be well. If this happens a third time (since it would delete the history anyway) I'll simply replace the hard drive. It's a Seagate. I've got lots of HDs, I'll swap it out and see if a different drive is more reliable. And take that oppby guitarist - Tips and Deals
I can understand it happening one time. But to do the same thing again, a month or two later--suggests a problem. No, it's not normal for Time Machine to require this, twice, in such a short time.by guitarist - Tips and Deals
One should hardly have to explain wanting a cradle or stand for their iPhone. I've had iPhones since they first came out, and have always preferred parking it on a stand, over just laying it down, and sticking a charging cable in it. Since getting the iPhone 5, the cable is easier to plug in (fits in either way, doesn't have to be flipped one specific way) and is smaller, but the down side isby guitarist - Tips and Deals

For the second time in about two months, i got a message, when Time Machine was doing its process... Forgive me, I didn't capture the exact wording... ...basically saying something about improving the reliability of backups, and discovering something invalid, then announcing it's going to initiate a backup from scratch, and do I want to back up now, or later? I did that weight shift, too. Started out at around 210, got down to just below 180. And dropped pounds at a rate of 10 -15 lbs a month (the first week or two, dropping 10 pounds happens immediately) The results were very rewarding. Besides feeling lighter, feel healthier in general. I'm referring to the state of the external hard drive (understanding it's one you brought yourself) before you assigned it as a backup drive to use with Time Machine. Time Machine, the software application built into OS X, is not a utility that does things like erase and format hard drives, like Disk Utility. It will create a sparsebundle and mount that on your desktop during backups. But itby guitarist - Tips and Deals

Do you recall why that drive was formatted (incorrectly, as it turns out) as case-sensitive? It's an unusual choice. Just curious. I'm not familiar with that format, or what would be an appropriate reason to format it that way. I used to work in the coffee trade. I spend a fortune on my coffee habit, and love exploring rare or exotic or novel beans and roasts. I'm not an expert, but an addict, and hobbyist. I recently inquired about the virtues of peaberry, what makes that type of bean desirable. The answer was different than the Wikipedia source. First, it's a mutant bean. A trickle charger, and a long, heavy-duty extension cord. There's power somewhere on your property, true? If not, purchasing a different kind of battery may not help. I've had that issue with my Honda Civic Si, I drive it infrequently sometimes, and it doesn't take much neglect for the battery to get drained. I use a long extension cord. It may only need this during certain seasons. If aby guitarist - Tips and Deals
basic leather conditioning supplies, like you see in a shoe department, or shoe repair store. Even the hardware store, and the local supermarket, has this stuff, it's not rare or hard to find.
