I've been doing very little hiking around the river recently as I'm trying to get my knee back to 100% after pounding it too hard last fall. I had to go into town today and stopped by the nicest park in town for some pics of more tame wildlife. I am so pleased with the park's management of the pond in the last several years. I had a friend get her 2007 MBP fan replaced at the apple store in Barcelona and it was only about $100. Sure, you can find a used fan cheap, but it'll be OLD already. I'd price the apple store for a new one before I shopped used ones. ps - dust/pet hair accumulation can be cleaned easily and if it was really bad initially, a good cleaning might be all you need.by hal - Tips and Deals

I haven't read anything about the testimony yet, but the idea of Jobs being grilled by a congressional committee makes me cringe. Steve's ego could have landed him in jail. I know he came a long way late in life, but he was still a guy used to dictating terms and always getting what he wants. Congress LOVES showing these kinds of people who is the boss in the room. My cute little female cat fancies herself as quite the hunter... but dammit, she's getting better at it and is bringing home presents for me. The mammals are a pain. I've gotten pretty good at trapping mice and releasing. The one rat she brought home was way smarter than the mice - required a rat trap. Sounds like it's not booting - any way to verify? Did you set it up such that when the power button is pressed, a restart/shutdown dialog window pop up? Or does it just sleep? if you get the dialog, you should be able to shut it down properly by pushing the power button , then the return key. I have to ask... how does one get busted for possession of a small amount? The only time I hear about this is when it's discovered in a more serious crime like drunk driving - discovered while being searched and arrested for something else.
