I hope I'm wrong, but I don't have a good feeling about this. Same here. I grew tired of the stark pre-OS X a long time ago. I don't see returning to that type of UI as make the OS more seamless. You'll have to format the new HD to a GUID partition map with Disk Uility. You should then be able to restore a Time Machine backup to the HD, or you could clone your current HD and install that on your new HD. That would be faster the using a TM back up. Any screwup should just be a matter of starting over, but nothing catastrophic.

I saw a BBC program about dogs and their affect on and relationship to people that was amazing. There was a story about a dog learning to be a service dog, a dog who diagnosed cancer in its owner, a an SAR dog who found a missing woman fallen in brush for days, and other amazing dog stories. Dogs are truly-- amazing animals.

I was Arness' fault. The television audience wasn't ready for the realistic opening. They wanted a marshal who didn't blink at the sound of gunfire. If not for that, it might have grown some legs. I miss westerns. Longmire is back, but it's too contemporary to be a western.
