My department is in the market for a multifunction color laser that can handle proofing and some bulk work on fliers, posters and things like that. We want to spend $2500-$3000. The systems people are recommending the HP LaserJet MFP M575dn for $2299. The service contract would bring it up to about $2800. Since the stories were about CIA the Justice Department probably went to a FISA court. Very dicey in my opinion. I know quite a few national reporters who use their personal cell phones to make some calls, and I know one who has had so many Boost phones in the last couple of years it's not funny. There is one clinical study out of the University of Guelph (Canada) that suggests that eating sourdough--by that I mean bread made with a long-nurtured starter--is better for you than even whole grain bread. I like this study, because I like sourdough and I like fooling around and baking with starters.
