Since the stories were about CIA the Justice Department probably went to a FISA court. Very dicey in my opinion. I know quite a few national reporters who use their personal cell phones to make some calls, and I know one who has had so many Boost phones in the last couple of years it's not funny. There is one clinical study out of the University of Guelph (Canada) that suggests that eating sourdough--by that I mean bread made with a long-nurtured starter--is better for you than even whole grain bread. I like this study, because I like sourdough and I like fooling around and baking with starters. An organization with "Friends" in the title will get a little extra love from the folks in Cincinnati as they check whether you're a political organization, i.e., "Friends of Pete Domenici" or whoever. So library and museum friends groups can count on waiting an extra few weeks for their 501 (c) 3 status. If you take chili powder, a little brown sugar, pepper, paprika, onion powder and garlic powder and stir it up into a dry rub, and apply that dry rub to a pork chop, let it sit for a half hour or so and grill it, it's delicious served with a sweet potato and green veg on the side.
