Two quick comment: Love that it has a micro SD slot. I sure wish Apple included this for the benefit of all of us. A quick glance shows the cable is very similar, but completely different that the apple 30 pin connector. Of course they wouldnt share the same common connector design? That would be too easy! I ended up picking up a refurb (as a good MR former would) Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7'). I think it is a step or two up from the cheapo versions, but I doubt it is on par with an iPad mini. JPKby JPK - Tips and Deals

Automatic has a slick website and great picture of what it could be, but is only vaporware so far. This website has been up for at least 3 months with a promise of a May release, but there have been no updates to this. If it actually does what they say, that could be the answer. I have been a lifelong Mac guy and an iOS user from day 1. One of the things I have wanted was a bluetooth connection to my OBD II port of my car(s) so I can monitor and log various parameters and performance. I have Dynolicious, but it doesnt do what I am looking for. I could not find a workable solution on my iPad, so I have ordered an inexpensive Android tablet to try it out. I normally think Ron Paul is pretty nutty, but now that the dust has settled and some time has passed, it does seem pretty overreaching to me. I enjoy shooting and have guns. I am a responsible and legal gun owner. I lean pretty hard to the right on most economic things and am pretty middle of the road on social issues. My pro-gun position is growing only to counter the growing anti-gun craziness. Just wanted to share my experience and perhaps give caution about iResQ. Although recommendations were good, I had a bad experience and think it is worth sharing. Wife cracked the glass on her iPhone 4. Reviews for iResQ looked good so i pre-purchased their repair and overnight shipping both ways. Phone arrived friday, fixed. Literally a few days after I commented to my wife that I never see any cars at our local K-Mart, the "Store Closing" sign went up. The other K-Marts must have already closed. I can't tell you the last time I was in one, maybe 10 or 15 years ago. Even though there were 3 within a 10 mile radius of my house. I think FedEx still has a bunch of them. I saw one in Reno, NV a couple of weeks ago and see them at O'Hare all the time. Still a great plane (DC-10 & MD-11) that never did shake its unjust bad reputation. I think there is still a big inventory in use in other parts of the world that do not have the money for the latest and greatest Boeing and Airbus offerings.
