I have been back at home for over a week now. I started a new seasonal job at Cabela's, so I haven't been able to spend as much time with the family.

The fundraiser at the deli sold out of bread and sammiches on the first day (yesterday). The owner says that normally 60 sammiches is a pretty good day for him, and he would love to have sold 90 or so. He doubled his bread order for yesterday. When Todd (Lily's dad) went by around 5PM, they were cleaning up the place because they had SOLD OUT!!!!! Even using what was left of "yesterdays bread", they sold through. 185 sammiches!!!!!!

I'm heading down soon for day 2. I hope it's another huge day for the deli!!!

Wow!!!! What a turnout! The deli opened at 11. They sold out of rolls by 12:30, and sold out of ALL foods by 1PM!!!!!

Yesterday they sold 185 subs, today they sold 170.

I continue to be amazed and touched by the outpouring of support for this little girl.

i like the Deli's simply designed site.

and that when you click Menu, you can read it, AND it doesn't default to PDF, and you DO get the option of downloading a PDF!

bit of a haul for me, but i'd like to drop in there when i'm in the Lancaster area some day.

The food was delicious! I've never been to a 'New Jersey Deli', so I can't vouch for that part of it. But what I ate...... YUM!!!!!
