TIP: toggling between open windows of one application

Works in the CS5 suite as well to switch between multiple open documents. Use it all the time.

I deal with a few folks precisely like this. Highly intelligent. I've long tried to figure out what their deal is. I haven't, but it does have something to do with not being able to really 'own' or 'meld' with the computer. It's as if they keep themselves separate from it, afraid of it.

Like driving a car, until you really 'own' the vehicle and in a way become one with it, muscle memory and natural flow just don't occur.

That about seems to hit the nail on the head. This person is no dummy; quite the opposite. But the mental gates just slam shut at most things tech related. They're so convinced they won't 'get it' that they've stopped trying to really assimilate any new knowledge.
