Goodbye darkness, my old friend…

As I woke up in the wee hours with the usual headache (every night to varying degrees since Sandy hit), I was at first puzzled by a bright glow coming from the kitchen. It was an ELECTRIC LIGHT!!! I desperately need the sleep, but couldn't resist running about and switching all the outlet strips back on. My Mac, which was sleeping when the power went off, booted itself up, so I couldn't just let that go, now, could I?

Hope things are looking up for everyone else dealing with the aftermath. I know it's much, much worse in other areas.
