Craigslist's New TOU?
#1
"SALES. You authorize us to charge your account for CL fees. Unless noted, fees are in US dollars; tax is additional. To the extent permitted by law, fees are nonrefundable, even for posts we remove. We may refuse purchases, which may place a hold on your account."

Craigslist has charged for certain types of postings for years now. This is nothing new especially without any link or context of any type.

I have been using CL on and off for a few years now. This is the first time I had to accept the TOU. Regarding CL fees, I never knew about them until now. I suppose because I don't post any sale whereas CL can charge a fee.

I wish they charged a fee for every listing. This would kill off the garbage listings.

I loved the classified ads in newspapers because the were so highly organized, and anyone who took the trouble to pay for an ad was serious.

People are selling stuff that doesn't belong in that section, or is pure garbage that they should just be unloading at a garage sale.

Then you have the idiots who post titles like "camera lens". Really now, that's going to get someone to click on that link? Maybe just a little bit more of a description would be helpful?

:-)

Here's a snapshot of the first listings from the photo/video section of my local CL.
