It was a busy and tiring week. I got in one workout and about 4 miles of walking. Sugar and carb consumption was not terrible but higher than it should have been for 1 workout. Hopefully this week will be less busy.

My wife and I are on an island for spring break. With the rowing machine left at home, I've been walking the in-laws' puppy twice a day. The puppy is too big and rambunctious for the eight-year-old nephew, so the task has fallen on me to teach it some restraint.

Putting in 10k+ steps a day. I guess the upper-body workout comes from the puppy tugging on the leash to greet and jump on other people and dogs and me holding it back (or, me gently tugging on the leash to get the puppy to give up its current scent exploration and move on to the next).

Before I got my second Covid Vaccine dose on Saturday I went for a short Mtn Bike ride. No issues for the rest of the day. Slept through Sunday entirely with a blinding headache, fever, chills, and body aches. Monday morning I'm fine.

Proves you immune system is working great!

6.9 miles walking last week. Weather and lots of car seat time kept the miles down.

On the bright side, after returning from warmer climes (Texas) where we spent three months with six days a week walking with our son, I lost five pounds. Another 50 pounds to go…

3.5 mi/day, average. Down about 10lbs from mid-Dec, about half of the target. I guess end of June is the estimated end point but we'll see...

Keeping up with my pushups- 3,670 for the year. Not doing as much on the rower, but still managed 1K in 3:36 last night which I hear is decent for my size.
