Trying to Make Peace with Big Sur: Must I Click-Drag, like a savage?
#1
I can't find a Pref in Big Sur that let's me Tap-Tap-Drag a window or file.

Is that gone in BS?

If I could put an older OS on this Mac, I'd seriously consider it.

It's in System Preferences - Accessibility - Pointer Control - Mouse & Trackpad - Trackpad Options - Enable Dragging:

Enable Double-Tap-Drag.

Thank you, guys!

Tap-Drag enabled, and I'll try to commit to the Three-Finger-Drag.

I alternate between 3 finger and light-click drag on my magic trackpad. Works fine.

You heathens with your track pads and no mouse clicky clicky spinwheel.

Is nothing sacred?

I have one Apple mouse, for the times BT goes flakey.

Got the Magic trackpads 1 and 2, but I yearn for a quality trackball with good software.

Kensington isn't what it used to be.

Mediocre kit these days, and abysmal software.

But once upon a time...
