Recommendations for carpet cleaners?
#1
I have two problems I need to solve. The first is an aging cat who doesn't always make it to the litter box and a dog that eats to fast and pukes. Most of the time it is downstairs on the hardwood and I can just clean it up, but we have carpet everywhere upstairs in the bedrooms. I get them cleaned professionally every couple of years but I need something to catch the in between accidents.

The second is that my new to me truck has cloth seats and they get DIRTY. I've had leather my last 2 cars and a Clorox wipe and leather conditioner took care of everything. Not so much with the cloth.

Looking for possibly 2 devices? A portable and a push model perhaps? I'm also not against one with a tub and house vs an upright. Not sure what the current state of cleaners is. I had one of these years ago and it was a beast at cleaning:

We’ve used Hoover uprights for years. The latest model (smart wash) is well made, works well, and as a bonus comes apart for cleaning, which is a major plus in a household with lots of shedding going on. They last an average of 7 years, with weekly use.

Bissell 86T3 BigGreen Commercial Extractor
It's the 'non-retail' version of the BG10.
Walmart has it for $400 w/ hose & upholstery tool included.

Same price @ bezosville too.

We use the SpotBot for those small throw up spots. Extremely easy to use and takes about 5 min to cleanup the spot without any real work on our part.

At the inexpensive end of the spectrum, I like Carbona Carpet cleaner - $4.94 at Walmart

Spotbot gets high marks for spot cleaning. I just rent a machine for room size cleaning.
