NRA v Vullo granted cert by SCOTUS
#11
Access to firearms should be easy and unencumbered by interference from the government (i.e. background checks). It's right there in the constitution.

Another obvious infringement of a patriot’s 2nd amendment rights, this time in the commie state of Iowa:

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office received several calls Wednesday afternoon reporting an armed man walking the streets of Glidden.

… Carroll County Sheriff Ken Pingrey says deputies made contact with individual south of Glidden on Timber Avenue, identifying the man as Jerry Lee Webb Jr., 38, of Kansas City, Missouri. He was in possession of a loaded 12-gauge shotgun, which law enforcement says looks similar to an AR style rifle. Law enforcement says he left a backpack at the NEW Cooperative in Glidden where deputies located a loaded 9mm pistol inside.

Webb was taken into custody on an unrelated no contact order violation… the case was dismissed due to lack of probable cause.

Said the sheriff:

“The mere fact that Webb was in possession of two loaded, uncased weapons is not a crime under Iowa laws. It is, however, extremely stupid to walk around town carrying firearms in this fashion,” Pingrey said. “This will not only spark fear in a community, and rightfully so, but will also generate a vigorous response from law enforcement. I am a huge proponent of the 2nd Amendment and the NRA, but I firmly believe in safe and responsible gun ownership. This was neither safe nor responsible.”

I can’t believe they harassed this Law abiding responsible gun owner™, can you?

and how does this relate to the topic of this thread?
It has nothing to do with it. This is a 1st A case and State abuse.
