FInally joined the Intel crowd

My refurb Macbook Pro 2.2 came this morning. Installing Leopard on it now (retail disks were in the box along with iLife 08).

Also got a 160 GB iPod Classic.

Now I can take a break from refreshing the tracking page every 3 seconds.

I've got a new iMac en route. I just went to the tracking page, and all I see is your foot-prints. Maybe it will clear up later, and I can get some info.

Congrats! I know how it is being on the outside looking in! Glad your machine is ok, wish I could say the same. The intel iMac that I ordered a week and a half ago had to be sent back. (Optical drive DOA). This was a brand new 24" prior model that Mac Connection had on clearance for $1299.00. My tale of woe is here:

To their credit, MC did offer to give me a full refund, upgrade to new model, (no discount though), or ship back at their expense for repairs. I opted for the return for repairs as the nearest authorized Apple repair was 140 mile round trip and other than the bad optical drive, everything else was just perfect.
