Where are my command+shift+3 shots going?
#1
I have a post-it note on my iMac for screenshots do command+shift+3. Where are those going? I thought it used to pop open Preview, but it isn't. If it's a remnant of Snapz that I uninstalled, what gives, then?

Check your "images" folder. (or search on "picture 1")

If you use Onyx or Cocktail, they have preferences to re-set format (PNG,JPG,TIFF) and location/path for image.

Help from the Finder says:

Shortcuts for taking pictures of the screen
.
.
.
"Screen shots are saved as files on the desktop. If you want to put the screen shot in the Clipboard (rather than create a file) hold down the Control key when you press the other keys. You can then paste the picture into a document."
