embed a powerpoint into word 2010 for mac
#1
I have a professor who insists that I embed a powerpoint presentation into a word document. Apparently this is easy with Windows but I am having no luck with Word for Mac (powerpoint is also for mac). Whenever I try to go through the "Insert Object" route I get a message saying:

"The Sever Application, source file or item cannot be found. Make sure the application is properly installed, and that it has not been deleted, moved, or renamed."

The file is there, the application is installed.. everything runs smoothly until I go to import it.

What am I doing wrong? and how do I get this stupid powerpoint embedded?

What exactly does 'imbed' mean?

Just export the slide(s), or all of them from PowerPoint. ('Save as Pictures')

It works in Windows, but is a really bad idea. Sounds like you have a very lazy professor.
