For the 1st time in months, I turned the Mac mini off

After getting up & checking email, I turned the Mac off so it wouldn't wake up later & record basketball playoffs instead of my soap.

Earlier I started to turn it back on then saw the Dell Mac mini 9 sitting there, so I fired it up. Even though it's over 2 years old, this is still a pretty darn good little computer & I still get about 2.5 hours of use from a fully charged battery.

I use my Dell Mini a lot more than I use my Mac Mini. My computing needs at home and while traveling have not gotten more complicated over the last 3 years.

I turned my mini off yesterday to install 8G of RAM.

Usually it runs day and night. And it's practically silent compared to my previous mini (two generations ago).
