I'm impressed
Paul was on the case 3 minutes after I called it!

Cover me---I'm going in. Sandwich made with 6-day old deli ham.

I have told washing old food down with a strong alcohol beverage would do it

At least it wasn't Deli TURKEY. That stuff is ready to go by the next day in most cases.
It's always wise to ask them at the deli what the date is on the package they are cutting from. You'd be amazed at how close the dates are on their sealed meats - before they even open them and start slicing! Amazed or sickened... I won't even by sliced turkey that isn't going to be gone within 12 hours or so of arriving home.

Are you still alive?
You haven't posted in several hours. We are concerned.
