The BBC just finished airing the second season of Sherlock tonight. The episodes are available on the BBC website, but only for access from the UK. For those of you who don't want to wait for PBS to air them this Spring, all three episodes can also be found in the usual places.

OK. For those of us clueless folks; where are the "usual places"? :dunno:

I would assume that's an oblique reference to those sites who host links like down pouring rain.
Too bad I won't use those; the good news is they should air here soon enough.

Being in the UK I can download using the BBC iPlayer, the files are over 1.5GB each show of which there are three. If only I could upload at a reasonable speed I could offer to make them available. Just looked at my DropBox account and I have 2.5GB there so maybe I will experiment to see how long a show takes to upload.

Don't get yourself in unnecessary hot water, doing that. At least remember Dropbox can recognize and compare filenames you upload.

So if he zips them with a certain compression level and calls them "Watson source files for OS X" we'll all know what they are but they will be none the wiser?

Looks like it might be quicker to wait for it to come out in the US! I dropped one file in my DropBox and it said it would take 14 hours to upload. It's been 40 minutes and is now saying 20 hours. I think I will stop it as it's slowing everything else down.
It will be so nice when high speed uploads come to our little village.
