NYC electronic components

any of you local NYC types know of any place that sells electronic components, diodes, resistors etc? Not surplus, but new parts in Manhattan?
There use to be places like that when I was in the music biz, but I can't seem to find any.
Need to find a common zener for my HDTV power supply.
I can on-line it (Mouser, digi-key), but ends up being $10 for a .50¢ part. Besides, I'm looking for instant gratification.
But it shove comes to push.

i doubt you're going to find one but if you do let me know. i've briefly been a part of electronics hobbyist groups and they've always ordered online. sometimes putting together group orders.
