Even though I've seen it numerous times I might just have to go see it on the big screen.
Luckily it's playing in my hometown. Thanks for the heads up.

Have there been other two part TNG shows in the theatre?

I rewatched those two episodes a few years back, and was startled at how sedate the pacing was. For a story that's famous for being one of the more exciting in that series, there's an awful lot of sitting around and talking.

Still, pretty cool to give it the big screen treatment...

We just watched the first Dr. Who episode with Cybermen - and we realized almost the entire Borg system in Star Trek was a complete rip-off. Even 'Resistance is futile' was first in Dr. Who.

I do like these STNG episodes, however - and the closest theater showing on Thurs April 25 is 90 miles away. Not going to happen on a school night.

It's not a rip-off; it's homage. Wink

This describes TNG in its entirety, viewed ~2 decades later.
