Need Recommendation for iPhone Holder in car

If you car's vents are located favorably...

I've avoided such vent mounts because I didn't want to:
1. block the air from the vent
2. have the vent pointed in an undesirable direction just because the phone mount required it
3. risk overheating the phone when heat was coming from vent
4. break the vent. I've pulled slats out of their mounting holes with vent holders (should pop back in, but there might be the potential for more to go wrong...). Would use them in a rental, but not in my own, or friends' or families' cars.

Depends on your dash, I guess, but I'm really happy with the ZeeHoo Qi charging vent mount. No batteries on mine, and it's easy to channel the USB cable so that it's practically invisible. Auto open/close and it charges my phone without me even having to think about it.

I have 2 different-but-similar versions in different vehicles, and the positioning is perfect. I have no fear that the vent blades will give way. It does obstruct the AC a bit, but it's not like it's muffling it. There is still plenty of room for airflow—it just isn't so direct. It's an upper vent so heat isn't really an issue as that comes out of the lower vents. I know some vehicles allow you send heat out of the uppers, but who wants it blasting at their eyeballs anyway?

I have a friend who does! He has his iPhone mounted in a ProClip setup over the vents and has been known to overheat his iPhone while driving with the heat blasting out of the vents. I have a similar setup and have never had that problem since I prefer much reasonable temperatures.
