Have you stopped sleeping with your partner?
#21
I have tended to snore when I've been overweight and it really bothered my wife. It can almost always be mitigated through simple means without going to the extreme (i.e. using a CPAP machine). Here are generally effective methods to try:

1. If you're overweight, lose weight and get down to your normal weight range. This clears up a bunch of other conditions at the same time. Intermittent fasting is a pretty effective method. YMMV.

2. Do throat muscle exercises specifically for snoring. These can be quite effective because snoring is caused by constriction of your throat due to your lower jaw relaxing and moving backwards, combined with having your tongue partially block the airway. Building up the muscles reduces the constriction. Just google it. There are apps to help you with these.

3. Drink less alcohol before going to bed. This also causes your throat muscles to relax too much.

4. Sleep on your side. Sleeping on your back allows your tongue to fall back and constrict the airway.

5. Get an antisnoring aid that either holds your lower jaw forward, or stops your tongue from falling back into your throat. I did a fair amount of research on these and like this one the best:

This one was also good but is slightly less pleasant to use.

Try several of these methods and make your wife happier. Happy wife, happy life!

My wife finds that a heel to my ribs stops my snoring, usually causing me to roll on my side.

I kid you not; she does not like her sleep disturbed.
