Sigh. Really not the same as they were in the good 'old days.

And I still can't find my damn 10mm socket I lost working on the old Civic...

At least this set looks like they didn't pad out the tool count excessively with "nothing" items that aren't of much practical use. Through Lowes you are at least getting ones made for Stanley Black & Decker. Sears still holds a license to source tools through their existing channels and use the Craftsman brandname.

I see a bunch of bits and allen keys in the back... at least 40+ of the pieces?

What I don't like is reading them, near impossible. My Stanly ones are super easy. (much smaller set) white squares for metric, white diamonds for SAE. no allen wrenches, and only a handful of bits.

Every new tool set should come with at least three 8mm, 10mm, 12mm sockets. Just because.

The pad out items I think of are things like hacksaw blades with a cheap handle to use them with. Cheap feeler gauge sets and the like. The bits and allen keys I usually find some use for, they replace the ones I have worn out or lost.

Though looking at the Lowes site they do not provide an actual list of what is included in the set.
