Why isn't Mail Learning new junk?
#1
in the past few weeks, a bunch o' email has defeated my host's spam filter and been inundating my mailbox. Mail hasn't caught on that it's junk even though i mark it as such. so, i put Mail back into training mode for a few days and marked the spam. i've put Mail back into Automatic and it's still not picking it up. why? it's way to many different email addresses to input individually. what else can i try?

If it that picture junk mail - there is no text for the junk filter to work on. I just created a rule to kill messages with a single gif or jpg attachment.

Otherwise your prefs or junk filter learning cache can be corrupt. There are websites on how to reset the junk filter.
