Parallels users: have you tried installing Ubuntu Linux 7.10?

I downloaded the 64-bit version, after reading online that my MacPro would support it, but when I try and install via Parallels, it tells me my CPU doesn't support it!?! Is this simply a limitation in Parallels, and it would work via BootCamp, or was I simply misled by my earlier research?

Why use the 64-bit version? Download the 32-bit version instead. There is very little software available for the 64-bit version.
