So, did google quit doing person lookups? (Name/addresses)

It used to be one could put in last name comma city comma state and get a listing of all people that match.

Now I get nada.

What gives?

Now it appears one has to do the following search, but you'd have to KNOW the special command:

rphonebook: adams, new york, ny

When and why did they change that?

It's on-again-off-again and maybe requires more specificity for some searches.

I was just checking a friend's parents address in Michigan. I got bupkis the first couple of tries and then when I got specific with a first name it showed the address and map-link as one would expect.

Then on a whim I repeated the search with my friend's last name in a different town and I got the names-and-addresses results again.

Weird.

But if necessary, one can fall back to a Yahoo people search.

Now the Rphonebook option is dead for me. Google just sucks.
