How to attach an image in Mail without image appearing in text?

I can attach images to outgoing mail with no problem. The attachments are there but the complete image also shows up in the body of the text. How can I suppress this?

Right click save as icon works without any additional software.

Indeed it does, but I like the shareware's overall control of the matter re/viewing inline versus selecting which to view and which to not.
