I'm new to the Mail/Address Book/iCal combo and now that it's set up and running, I need to move its data to my traveling MacBook.
I know in Entourage, I'd just copy over the MUD folder. What's the best way with these apps? I do have a new .Mac membership if that's part of the solution.

.Mac allows you to sync all that and more between any computers on the same network. Go to .Mac in System Prefs and check out the "sync" tab.

That, of course, assumes you subscribe to .mac

If not, just back up the address book, copy that file over to the new macand then upload it.
Same procedure works if you need to copy programs that allow a backup.

IMHO, easiest most complete way would be to use the Migration Assistant in Applications/Utilities and firewire target disk mode.

Yes. A rudimentary assumption based on his initial post.

No, for .Mac users (such as tuqqer), the .Mac sync method is far better, more complete and easier. It's the sync that keeps on sync'ing.
