Down here–some 300miles south of you–it's been dry as a bone since summer. My lake is dry and the grass is dying. We're getting some rain today (finally!), but I suspect that it will be just the usual tease that we get once or twice a month.

We did. It rained hard for about 20 minutes this morning, then we had a stead drizzle until about 3.

We might have gotten 1/2 an inch. Unfortunately, we need about 30 more to catch up.

Most of the storms off the gulf and gulf coast have split going north and south leaving us almost completely dry.

Long-range forecasts don't predict any significant changes.
