I ate less but didn't exercise more as I had hoped for this week. One out of two ain't bad. I got in 2 upper body lifts and 6 miles of biking.

Good weather this week allowed for walks nearly every day. Wife's pace is too slow for any significant cardio benefit, but moving is better than not moving.

One day's destination was a coffee shop where we met former neighbors for an outdoor visit. Might be even on the calories (on can hope).

Another day was to the Loop Wetlands which has paths down to the Ohio River. When we walked this area last summer the "wetlands" area was dry and we crossed between paths with impunity. THIS time, the wetlands were, well, wet and shoes got pretty muddy. Dead grasses on top did not provide the support I anticipated so that part of the walk was ill advised.

Surprised at the lack of bird activity in that area. There is a lake, the wetlands, a stream, and the shoreline along the river and yet no bird sitings or sounds all in the middle of the afternoon.

16.9 miles of mostly walking. We’ve had a couple of windy days that made us lazy. With the ground covered with snow, there wasn’t any dust blowing around but nonetheless we decided to rest.

I got one day of yardwork early in the week. Too much rain to finish up on the leaves.

2.5mi/day thanks to skipping a day yet again for the 7th week in a row. If I end up skipping 2 days in a week I might have to reinstate the self-flagellations.
