I would have a lot of respect for a business that discontinued a business relationship (which is all advertising is) with a business (a radio station) whose programming projects values that are at odds with those of the business owner. People do this all the time in deciding what their business relationships will be.
You can call it "advocacy," but in fact at the micro level these types of decisions are made pretty regularly.
