Why Did My iMac Shut Down?

That could be what's wrong with mine. We pulled two 2Gb strips from my sons new Asus gaming laptop
several months ago, I asked on here if it was compatible with our iMac and everyone said yes. So I popped
it in and away she went but with hearing what Larry is saying it makes think mine could be a memory problem
also. I ran Rember on it and it said everything was fine but maybe I need to run a more extensive test on it.
I've ran into bad memory in the past and it can cause some crazy issues.

Two 4Gb strips look like they are running about $50 from Larry so I might have to put them on my Christmas wish list :-)
