Lets try something. I'll stand in front of a car coming toward me. The driver can do whatever he needs to avoid hitting me using equipment the car came with.

Ok, you've convinced me bullets are faster than cars. I've got a better idea. Let's outlaw cars, then outlaw guns, and see which law saves more lives? Then along with Roger, you can explain why it matters whether the object is designed to kill, or not. A preventable death is a preventable death. kj.
