FWIW, this is Hillbilly Heaven... farm country down there. No restrictions on discharging firearms, etc... And alcohol was involved, so you've got the classic Hillbilly Darwin Award wannabe combination.. booze, guns, and stupid.

Yet another case of gun owners without decent training. These boys will lose their guns (good), and (hopefully) not be allowed to buy guns again.

I'm kind of surprised the AK-47 rounds went that far. .22 rounds, sure. They're lethal out to 2.2 km. AK's have a stated 'effective' range of 350 meters.
