So many tears this year thanks to Leonard Cohen:

First, for his beautiful final letter to Marianne before she died.

Second, for the New Yorker interview, in which he stated he was ready to die.

Third, for his departure from this earth.

And now I have to bitterly laugh at his statement from a couple of weeks ago contradicting himself on the death question. A bit of a cruel feint that was.

At least he left us with another good album. Leaving with a strong final statement just like Bowie did.
