Trump is framing this as either you are for the true American (my) agenda or you are against it. If you are against it you are against the country (unstated assumption - the country wants what Trump wants). If you are against the country then you ought to go back to where your ancestors came from. Specifically, if you are a person with too much melanine and are against the country, then we all know you come from one of them shithole countries so you should go back to them. (We'll leave it ambiguous with respect to anti-American caucasian mutts, because, well, they are white).

The saddest thing is that this may actually be working a bit in his favor in terms of getting more people to approve of his actions.

Maybe I just plain missed it, but I can't believe I haven't read or heard the OBVIOUS anywhere: the Squad doesn't hate America, they hate Trump and the Republican :censor who enable him.
