It was in with the GPS tracker they gave you with your last flu shot.

I keep a record in my ancient Palm Pilot (backed up, too) along with notes from the appointments.

I have to.

I had a brain injury, and my short term to long term memory link is pretty dysfunctional. There are days I'm lucky to remember where and who I am.

You might want to look into a personal health record (PHR). Start at this site:

http://myphr.com/

This site is not a PHR service but rather a free site that helps you select a PHR.

I've got news for you...that's got nothing to do with the brain injury.

My Treo 650 calendar would have the date & time of visits, MD seen, tests Rx info etc. I have at least 2 years if info in my Treo. One reason I use a PDA.

[quote beerman]Do you track your doctors visits in any way? Dates, issues, resulting paperwork etc? I'm always getting caught off guard when a doctor says, "when did you have that procedure done? Who did it?" and I can never remember.
See, I think "iLife" apps should do THIS SORT OF THING!!! Make life easier. Have a built-in grocery shopper/price comparison tool, barcode scanner for tracking inventory into/out-of fridge and/or pantry, couple that with menus/recipes/diet tracking, instead of rating iPhotos, family can rate menus/recipes. Tie that into $$ per serving or $$ per meal to help you budget food. Kids can learn about food pyr-o-mid. Smile and such.

Have an auto tracker/maintenance type thing, too.

You know, the stuff EVERYBODY does or have to do in one way or another. LIFE....iLife.

Thanks Binky, I very much like the idea of tracking this information online. I want to select a large company that I can be sure won't disappear as many Internet startups do. Any recommendations?

I just spoke with a friend of mine who runs a company called "chartconnect". They keep electronic "charts" for doctors. Unfortunately they do not have a consumer product but he said that google was planning one. I googled and found that to be true although there is no timeline or even a beta product available right now. So I think I'll just hold off and see where the dust settles.
