Just upgraded IMAC to 10.5.1
No problems. Do I really have to RP?

No problems. Do I really have to RP? I RP before & after any new install, as matter of habit. I do fsck occasionally, if the mood strikes me. Others have debated its usefulness in the modern OS X era.

Not much point (for me, anyway) until then... One down :-) why stop there? why not just wait for 12.7.9?

There's an Onyx beta to keep handy just in case. http://www.titanium.free.fr/pgs2/english/download.html

I'm patient enough to let fine folks like you and pRon find 80% of the bugs...
But i'm not INFINITELY patient.. .5 will do just fine... Just like 10.2.5, 10.3.5, and 10.4.5 were "just right"... Well.. thereabouts, anyway...

Same here, though I may fsck off a little more often. I also RP after any software installation that requires authorization. ITunes *always* breaks some permissions.
