blooz, my sympathies - if you saw it, it is in the house somewhere - and is hiding. A few years ago one came in off the deck into our house, and was inside for 3 days with 3 cats and two dogs - finally it squeezed under the door of our bedroom and the dogs raised a ruckus - the chipster made a beeline under the king bed - we put all the animals out, opened the french doors and shooed it out with a broom.
I suspect it regaled its friends with stories of the time it spent captive in the scary house with all the BIG beasts.
We never did find any evidence of where it had spent the three days.
