I just got back from picking up my glasses with the new lenses and it's a completely different world from the first set. They went with the TruClear (non-digital) lenses and set the pupil height 2mm higher for this set. Apparently the Doctor felt bad about my enduring with the first set and had the new set of lenses overnighted to the practice. As I suspected the alignment targets on the first set being 8mm from the nasal side of the frame was significant as the new lenses look to be about 8mm from the temple side. I can "see" where it is going to take some getting used to them, but the difference is amazing and I think they'll be useable.
