I've had good luck on sets from CPO Reconditioned tools. At least worth a look

I've been using Ryobi One devices for about 15 years now. Awesome. Yeah.. the batteries die. Then you get new ones when they have a deal. They don't get used all the time, but when they do, they get a workout.

If I was a pro earning money with them I'd get a better line of tools. But I'm not.

Fine print says you get a three year warranty regardless of whether you participate in the lifetime registration or not. The lifetime thing is worded as a service agreement, not a warranty.
