This entitlement is all the fault of the airlines lack of involvement, chasing the Dollar.
Sure, a lot of people voluntarily follow the rules, but they're just losers, sheeple, and deserved to be taken advantage of by seasoned travelers who know rules are for losers, amiright?
Most attendants probably take the path of least resistance because those in charge don't really support them.
I want to see a threshold, not very high, that gets a passenger banned for life, from any commercial air travel.
Act up, and you'll be flying on charters, if you fly at all.
Of course there would be severe fines before the banning, given one plenty of waring that bad behavior won't end well.
