I'm pointing out what might be his biases. He's not a childrens' advocate. He's a lawyer. What do lawyers have to gain? Do you really think they're putting all the time and effort into promoting CAP laws for the benefit of the children? Is there anything you've seen that would show that CAP laws don't benefit lawyers? kj.

kj, your post indicates you didn't read the paper the distinguished law professor wrote on THE RHETORIC OF GUN CONTROL. When you have, I'm sure you will want to withdraw your straw man fallacy.
Ok, I read the paper, and I have no idea what you're talking about. It's not enough just to reference a paper and tell me I've made a logical error. You might want to explain how (where did I misrepresent his argument). After you do that, then you can explain to me what type of logical error Grace made when she referenced a paper that said,

"However, the reviewers did not view the available evidence as sufficient to establish the effectiveness of CAP laws as a public health intervention."

in support of her contention that CAP laws are effective. I think that would be called the "Didn't-understand-the-one-page-report fallacy". kj.
kj the quote above is from your link.

Where does it appear in the link that I provided?

It's in your link in the 16th or so post of this thread. I cut it and pasted it directly from the article you quoted from. Definitely not my link. kj.
